Career Day Inc. Launches Its First Program at North Valley Stream High School

Career Day Inc. proudly hosted its first-ever program at North Valley Stream High School, marking an exciting new chapter in our growing partnership with the Valley Stream community. After visiting the school’s sister campus four times, this debut event was an incredible success—filled with inspiration, energy, and opportunity.

The program featured a dynamic panel of professionals who brought their expertise, personal stories, and motivational insights to the students, encouraging them to explore diverse career paths and believe in their potential.

  • Kenia Nuñez, Education, Business, and Entrepreneurship, shared her journey as an entrepreneurship consultant, author, and self-care strategist. She inspired students to balance ambition with wellness and lead with purpose.

  • Phil DePaul, Business Property Maintenance and Entrepreneurship, spoke passionately about perseverance and the lessons learned from building his own business, reminding students that success comes from persistence and resilience.

  • Richard Tavarez, Banking and Community Relations, discussed the importance of leadership and community involvement, emphasizing how professional success and social impact can go hand in hand.

  • Isaiah Grigg, Music, Performance Art, and Nonprofit Leadership, motivated students through his story as Founder of MusicBreeds, showing how creativity, passion, and purpose can be powerful forces for change.

  • Matthew Pomara, Technology and Programming, shared insights from his role as Co-Founder and Vice President of Ark Technology Companies, inspiring students to embrace innovation and lifelong learning in the digital age.

  • Michael Goldberg, Business, Entrepreneurship, and Leadership Training, spoke about the value of leadership, integrity, and mentorship, drawing from his vast experience in healthcare administration and education.

Together, these speakers created a memorable experience that left students inspired, engaged, and eager to pursue their dreams. The event also highlighted the importance of bringing community and career education together—showing students that their paths to success are as unique as their passions.
