Career Day Inc. proudly partnered with Plainview Hospital and Syosset Hospital, part of Northwell Health, to deliver an inspiring and impactful career exploration program for more than 405 students at Plainview-Old Bethpage John F. Kennedy High School. As the main sponsors of the program, Plainview and Syosset Hospitals played a vital role in creating a meaningful, hands-on experience that introduced students to a wide variety of career opportunities and industries.

The event featured Michael Scarpelli, President of Plainview Hospital and Syosset Hospital, as the program’s keynote speaker. Mr. Scarpelli shared his personal career journey, leadership experiences, and powerful words of encouragement, inspiring students to pursue their goals with confidence, purpose, and determination.

In addition to the outstanding healthcare professionals from Northwell Health, Career Day Inc. also brought together professionals from a broad range of industries, careers, and backgrounds. Students had the opportunity to engage with business leaders, entrepreneurs, educators, creatives, and professionals from multiple fields, giving them valuable exposure to the many paths available after high school and beyond.

Through interactive discussions, hands-on learning experiences, and meaningful conversations, students gained real-world insight into careers they may have never previously considered. The program was designed to help students explore their interests, ask questions, and build connections with professionals who are making an impact in their communities every day.
